Joint Preparation of the International Exhibition Project "Nadia. To the 115th Anniversary of the Birth of Nadezhda Khodosevich"
As participants of the MOST mobility program, on May 24 – 30, 2019, we visited Paris in order to expand our professional and creative contacts with French partners in connection with the organization of an international exhibition project dedicated to the work of our famous compatriot, famous artist and legendary personality Nadezhda Petrovna Khodasevich- Léger (1904-1982). During the trip, we held negotiations with the artist's heiress, her great-granddaughter, Vice President of the Léger Committee Natalya Samoilova. We had a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the private collection of the Parisian collector and Léger Committee member Jean du Châteinet, who expressed his desire to become one of the participants in the forthcoming exhibition project. Five months later, on October 23, the National Art Museum of Belarus hosted the grand opening of the exhibition "Nadia. To the 115th anniversary of Nadezhda Khodasevich", which presented items from private collections in France and from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus. The French guests and participants of the project, as well as Belarusian spectators have already highly appreciated the exhibition. We thank the MOST mobility program, which has become a real bridge between Belarus and France at the very beginning of this unique exhibition project!
