European Congress of Endocrinology
With the support and assistance of the MOST project, associate professors of the Department of Endocrinology of the Belarusian State Medical University E. G. Mokhort and E. I. Shishko took part in the 21st European Congress of Endocrinology, which was held in Lyon (France) on May 18-22, 2019. The program of the Congress included various issues of clinical and experimental endocrinology (pathology of adrenal glands, gonads, thyroid, parathyroid glands, bone system, pituitary gland and obesity and diabetes mellitus problems) considering modern scientific achievements. Great importance was given to the assessment of genetic markers of various endocrine diseases, which already allows to individualize the tactics of various endocrine system diseases. Modern possibilities of obesity therapy, autoimmune ophthalmopathy, hypothyroidism, reproductive disorders and side effects of immunotherapy were actively discussed at the congress. The results of the own research in the form of poster presentations were presented at the congress as well. The received data will be used in treatment of patients with diabetes on clinical bases of the Department of Endocrinology, in the educational process at the Belarusian State Medical University, at carrying out postgraduate training of clinical residents and doctors at the Advanced Training Faculty and at carrying out seminars for endocrinologists and doctors of adjacent specialties. In addition, the received data will allow to optimize the organization of scientific researches.
