Exchange of Experience with European Fashion Industry Insiders at the London Fashion Week Festival

Within the MOST project of the European Union, a group consisting of a journalist, a photographer, a designer, a makeup artist and a hair stylist visited the London Fashion Week Festival 2019.
Within the framework of the Festival, the group visited all the announced events:
- a lecture on “Positive Fashion” held with the support of BBC Earth, BFC and Mother of Pearl concerned conscious consumption and use of secondary raw materials when creating collections by brands and designers. Speakers were: designer Christopher Raeburn, creative director of the Mother of Pearl brand Amy Powney, publisher Elle
- a lecture on the topic “What does it mean to be an influencer today” about the personal responsibility of media people, bloggers and brands in shaping public opinion. Speakers were: Joel (blogger), Millie Mackintosh (blogger), Jiawa Lui (Vogue Australia journalist) and Alex Stedman (fashion publisher at The Frugality).
- shows of following brands: Fyidor Golan, Marta Jakubowski and Osman
- exhibition of works by British and international brands.
Besides that, I also participated in the informal part of the festival communicating with European colleagues and insiders of the fashion industry.
As a result, each member of the group took over experience in their professional field, reached certain agreements to continue cooperation with colleagues from the European Union, made plans to integrate the knowledge gained in Belarus and strengthened intercultural ties.
We express our gratitude to the team of the MOST interaction program for the unique opportunity to learn from the European colleagues in the fashion industry and personally discuss strategic interaction.
